The Embassy of the Federal German Republic in Tripoli is recruiting a member (f/m) of the security team,
starting date 01^st October 2024 (or upon agreement)

The post offered is full time (40 hours/week); contract for one year initially with option of prolongation.

The post includes the following functions and duties:

Security tasks concerning office and residential building

Access management

Inspection rounds

Translation at the visitor entrance

Willingness to work in shifts

The post requires the following qualifications:

Several years of professional experience in the security sector

Very good oral English and Arabic skills

German language skills highly desirable

Ability to work in a team

Ability to work under pressure

Flexibility and reliability

The Embassy offers:

A challenging posting in the security team

Predominantly regular working hours

Very good employment and contractual conditions according to Libyan labour and social security law

After a successful selection process, a personal/security check as well as a health check have to be carried out prior to employment. Willingness to cooperate is required.

Third-country nationals must also have a valid residence permit and a valid work permit in Libya at the latest when they are hired.
